AlGore is back! He's got the CHEAPEST ELECTRICITY in human history! Except it's exactly not that.
Last week, lifelong flim-flam man Al Gore declared wind energy to be “the cheapest source of energy the history of the world.” My friend Christopher Messina called me and asked me to help him debunk that utterly absurd claim on his Messy Times podcast.
Give it a watch, and please do Christopher and me a favor: Go to this link and hit both the “subscribe” button (it’s free) and the little thumb’s up button. Thanks!
David, this is off topic (nothing to do with lion ass Al). Coupla months back you reported about the drilling and testing of a new shale formation close to the Permian. Sounded very exciting and im wondering if there’s an update coming?
I like to use an analogy of someone running a convenience store. Imagine two kinds of employees. One kind is reliable, shows up every workday and works his entire shift. The other kind shows up whenever he feels like and works as long as he feels like it, coming and going at his whim. Is the unreliable kind of employee worth as much per hour as the reliable kind? Of course not. The store owner needs to have a reliable employee available at all times to cover for the flaky employees. Direct comparison of cost per hour of reliable and unreliable employees is nonsense. Ditto for reliable and unreliable sources of energy.
