Dave's Required Reading: Muckraking Reporter Claims Proof the U.S. Blew up Nordstream
The question of which country was responsible for blowing up the Nordstream I and II pipelines has lingered without resolution since the event took place last June. As I speculated at the time, there were only two real candidates to be blamed as the perpetrator of this act, which essentially ensured that no Russian gas could flow into Germany and the other northern European countries during the winter.
Only two candidates reasonably existed because only two countries had both the clandestine military expertise and the necessary assets present in-theater at the time to successfully carry out the mission. Readers will no doubt remember the position I took on the matter at the time.
