Hillary Clinton Wants You – To Be Re-educated

It’s been a fairly quiet week. Nothing really happened besides Vacating the Speaker and Hillary Clinton suggesting that all Trump voters be put into re-education camps to be deprogrammed.

Oh, House Republicans… 

This week eight House Republicans – members of “The Shi-ite Caucus” (as they are lovingly referred to) teamed up with every single Democrat present to oust Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. 

This situation is a reminder that unlike Republicans, Democrats have supported their Speakers, or at least Nancy Pelosi, even if it cost them their seats. As Speaker, Nancy Pelosi was able to get the votes to pass the laws she wanted such as ObamaCare, Waxman-Markey carbon tax bill, and the trillion-dollar Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Democratic members in close seats knew that voting for these bills could cost them their seats, but they voted how Nancy Pelosi wanted to them, and then lost their seats. The Republicans haven’t had a Speaker who could wield power like Pelosi for a long time.
