Sometimes you come across something that is so utterly ridiculous that you don’t even initially know how to respond to it. You read something so over-the-top absurd and non-factual in what is normally a fairly trustworthy media platform, and you think, ‘what was the thought process and approval string that resulted in this being published?’
Bloomberg is generally a fairly trustworthy media platform. Sure, it has a definite, unmistakable leftwards bias, but it is usually a bias of the traditional establishment liberal sort that we used to get from the likes of Walter Cronkite and Peter Jennings back in the day. But as a general rule, the energy-related reporting that comes out of Bloomberg tends to be based in solid reasoning and factual information, even if the conclusions reached by the writers almost invariably end up being grounded in the preferred narratives of globalist left thought.
Now, with the Bloomberg piece I’m about to write about here, you’re going to initially think, ‘well, what in the world does this have to do with energy and the myriad absurdities that whirl around the space every day of the week and twice on Sundays?’ That’s perfectly reasonable.
But here’s the thing: It is the conventional wisdom and narratives constructed by the globalist left that drives this insane ‘energy transition’ that is destined to fail pretty spectacularly and result in a major energy crisis or three in the coming years. And the only way to possibly head off the looming catastrophic outcome would be for the peoples in the countries we have traditionally called the ‘western democracies’ to throw the ruling bastards out of office in upcoming elections, and replace them with more leaders like Georgia Meloni in Italy and Javier Milei in Argentina.
If you draw an analogy to the plot of the original Star Wars movie, elections - free and fair elections - are the Obi wan Kenobi of this energy transition plot. They are, as Princess Leia said, our only hope of staving off ultimate disaster.
