Feel-Good Video of the Day: Watch Sen. John Kennedy Humiliate Climate Alarm Athlete

I’m not normally a fan of seeing young people being publicly humiliated. Or old people, either, come to think of it. But, if you’re self-possessed enough to present yourself to a senate committee as an “expert” witness when you are not really an expert about the subject matter at hand, and you utterly fail to do the preparation needed to ensure you can properly answer questions you will inevitably be asked by the members of the committee, then frankly, you get what you deserve.

That’s what happened to cross-country skier Gus Schumacher on Thursday when allowed craven Democrats to present him as an “expert” witness on climate change. Louisiana Republican John Kennedy decided to politely question him about his knowledge of the subject matter, and utter and complete humiliation ensued, to the point where Schumacher eventually just shut down and refused to even try to offer any answers.
