This has been slow in coming - too slow for many cities and counties who have seen thousands of acres of productive farmland taken out of production and viewsheds destroyed by massive windmills that sit idle most of the time and produce raptor-like shrieks whenever the wind does pick up.
A report published by USA Today this week details the dramatic rise in the number of US counties that have moved to block the building of new projects for either of the rent-seeking industries chosen by the climate alarm industry and its billionaire funders as the “solutions” to the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful boogeyman, climate change. The article details the happy fact that, in 2023, the number of counties blocking first-time wind and solar development out-stripped the number of counties allowing them for the first time ever.
The charts included in the article indicate this is a rapidly growing trend that seems likely to continue growing in the years to come.
