Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud, Canada's Climate Minister Admits the Climate Movement's Real Transportation Agenda
Canadian Environment and Climate Minister Steven Guilbeault
One of the parts of the climate alarm’s real agenda that activists and the government officials who toady for them are loathe to admit is that simply forcing drivers to give up their gas-powered cars in favor of electric vehicles is not really their ultimate goal in the transportation piece of their desired energy transition. Quite to the contrary, in their honest moments (which mainly take place in private or quite by accident) they freely admit that the real agenda is to force all but the wealthiest globalist elites to give up their cars entirely.
One of the most loyal government toadies for the climate alarm movement, Canadian Environment and Climate Minister Steven Guilbeault, blurted out that quiet part during a speech this week. Speaking to a conference on public transit in Montreal on Monday, Guilbeault is quoted by The Gazette as warning the audience that overestimating the utility of EVs to become a real solution to the climate alarmist narratives about climate change is a mistake to be avoided.
Doing that would be, he said, “an error, a false utopia that will let us down over the long term,” adding, “We must stop thinking that electric cars will solve all our problems.”
