The Energy Absurdity of the Week: Senate Democrats Plumb New Depths of Hypocrisy and Mendacity

The rank hypocrisy and utter mendacity of Democrats in Washington knows no bounds or sense of common decency. This has been the case for awhile now - at least since the advent of the Clinton regime in 1993 - but it nevertheless continues to shock and amaze even a cynical long-time observer like yours truly.

This week’s pretty phenomenal example comes from the Senate Budget Committee, chaired by the terminally dimwitted Rhode Island Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse, and a hearing it plans to hold on June 21, next Wednesday.
