The Energy Absurdity of the Week: Brazil's Lula Says the Quiet Part Out Loud

Despite his protestations to the contrary, there has never been any real doubt about Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s true nature as a committed socialist. Far too often for his own purposes of concealment and deception, this committed socialist zeal shows itself for all to see clearly.

Perhaps that zeal is what led him to say the quiet part of this ridiculously unworkable energy transition out loud this week during the UN annual assembly in New York City.
