The Energy Absurdity of the Week: Yes, Virginia, There is an Effort to Ban Your Gas Stove

Man, the Biden administration officials at the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) must have been hit with a massive backlash after news broke of their undeniable plans to mount an effort ultimately targeted at the banning of new gas stoves.

After the initial non-denial denials were put out by both CPSB chairman and the member who let the cat out of the bag failed to convince anyone other than the most gullible journalists at reliable Democrat propaganda outlets, the administration has been looking for other ways to kill the story.

But Richard Trumka, Jr., the commissioner pushing the ban, isn’t cooperating. In an interview with the Washington Post this week, Trumka doubled down on the false claim that gas stoves have been shown to cause asthma issues in the home, a claim that even the leftwing group that commissioned the study he keeps quoting has denied.
