To Save 'democracy' We Must Emulate China on Energy, Harris Economic Egghead Says

So, I’m sitting here browsing the internet at 6:30 a.m. in Spain, which is (I think) 11:30 p.m. Texas time, and I come across this gem of a story at Reuters:

Now, the first thing you need to know about Mr. Deese is that he is a former White House National Economic Council Director, and helped write the Inflation Reduction Act while there. That would be the same IRA that resulted in the massive inflation and higher interest rates that are currently killing the development of the offshore wind industry in the United States.

So, he’s got that going for him. A real badge of honor among Democrats these days.
