Today's Required Reading: Texas Think Tank Calculates The Real All-In Costs of Charging Your Electric Vehicle

One of the big selling points sold to the public about electric vehicles is that they are supposedly less expensive to operate than gas vehicles. This is utter nonsense, and the good folks at the Texas Public Policy Foundation have provided the receipts. In a new study release last week, TPPF calculates the real cost of fueling an EV vastly exceeds the current cost of fueling up your gas-powered car by several multiples, once all subsidies and other very real costs are factored into the equation.
