Summer Temperature Hysteria and Other Things

Summer has arrived along the east coast and with it a few days of hot temperatures. How hot? According to the Governor of New York - dangerous heat -- "with temperatures we have not seen in our lifetime," as the state prepared for a heat wave starting Tuesday and lasting through the rest of the week.
In our lifetime huh? True if you are 12 years old. The last time New York City hit 100 degrees was in July of 2012.
The hysteria over summer temperature has arrived and it is higher than anything we have seen in our lifetime.
