I know some people grow tired of my habit of pointing out the political and public policy causes of and connections to events in the energy/climate world. Actually, ‘habit’ is the wrong word: It’s a conscious practice, really.
It’s a practice because it’s real, and I am focused on analyzing what is happening in the energy world from a standpoint of reality, not the fantasy narratives pushed by the globalist agenda. The reality here is that politics and public policy matter, and in fact increasingly drive major financial decisions made in the energy space.

It remains atop the most-viewed list on my landing page here despite the fact that the audience to this Substack has doubled in the 11 intervening months.
I don’t obsess over those numbers, but I did notice that reality yesterday and asked myself why that’s the case. Why does that piece strike such a nerve among readers here and across my social media platforms?
