A group of protesters briefly disrupted the Traveler’s Open PGA Tour event on Sunday, rushing onto the green to shout slogans and wearing t-shirts that read, “No Golf on a Dead Planet. Watch: You have to love the clown kicking over a planter full of flowers to protest a “dead planet,” don’t you? These people have no sense of self-awareness whatsoever.
I have heard more than one person on Wall Street say, "We were born on a dead planet..."
One of these "experts" was on a prestigious podcast, talking about what a good idea it would be to spend USD billions to bury logs from forests in the Western U.S. into sealed coffins to prevent the escape of CO2.
I'd rather print a hard copy of a year's worth of Energy Absurdities...and beat 'em over the head with it until they yell "STOP". And then continue the beatings, because they never learn.
Until there is immediate and harsh penalties for this destructive and disruptive behavior these incidents will continue as the pay they receive is worth more than the cost of the slap on the wrist.
Of course these people are total idiots.
But how did they get those materials into the golf tournament and how did they get in dressed like that? Makes me wonder where all the graft was spent. . .
