Good talk. I notice you moderate your opinion of the value of wind/solar on a grid a bit for broader consumption. I admire the careful way you worded some of those answers.

Well, wind and solar can have a place on a properly managed integrated power grid. I've never changed that view. Now, do I think wind should have any place? No. But it can. Solar is somewhat different in that it can be used in so many versatile ways in order to contribute. But even solar should be extremely limited to prevent grid managers from falling for the siren song of trying to treat it as if it can replace real baseload generation.
