The "Mountain Valley Pipeline", (MVP), in VA and WVA just passed the final testing phase and is slated to go live this month, bringing NATGAS to the rural areas of VA.

The enviro-wackos got our last dem governor to halt it, but the current republican one restarted it and pushed it to completion!

The same enviro-wackos in the media clutched their pearls at every leak during the testing phase, completely ignoring the fact that the testing phase is supposed to find leaks.

The sheople who are against such absolutely necessary pipelines should be forced to live off-grid for a period of 6 months, and truly get a taste of the 18th century energy world that the left wants for us....

I’m sure all those environmentalists are skilled mechanical engineers that have decades of experience with piping…

Try saying that with a straight face.

And that's all that's required C. 2024.....

David, Great article - I always loved the comedian's line "Heres Your Sign"

It gets worse - The Canadian oil, which is heavy crude, was to replace the heavy crude U.S. refiners are purchasing from Venezuela - then add removing,or not enforcing sanctions on Iran and,it is clear that Buyden would rather have the world buying its oil from terrorists countries than American and Canadian producers - so we all can take pride with each fill up knowing that our American administration is a huge supporter of worldwide terrorism

Wonder if the big guy is taking his 10%?

wouldn't be surprised - but who is the new bag man

That was day one of this administration. We need oil; here, there, and everywhere.

Look at average crude price during Trumps years vs bidens years and the difference is dramatic but

believable. 35 - 40% higher overall. Then look at the costs incurred trying to replace high density energy with low (ref these ETA stories). Consumers are getting shafted on both ends.

I think it was around 2009 or so that I attended an electric industry meeting that had a presentation from a team of folks from the Natural Resources Defense Council. The presentation sought to explain the need for the US to abandon "fossil" fuels and turn exclusively to "renewables". As a report had just been published that stated that the cost for this conversion would be approximately 3 trillion USD. I asked the presenter, in lieu of the fact that China and India combined were the largest polluters in the world and were building coal-fired power plants at a rate of 1000MW per week, why would the Western world bankrupt itself to tilt at these windmills? The answer? We need to send a signal to other countries!!! These fools always seem to to have plenty of harebrained projects for other peoples money.

Good points. The Keystone pipeline was opposed by Obama, with Hillary Clinton as the 'point man'. Then Trump tried to get it going again, and then Biden killed it on day one in office. The fact that killing it actually led to more emissions since our usage and refining methods are cleaner than Asia's is something the activists that opposed the pipeline will probably never admit.

We still need more pipeline construction. With the increased demand for ‘energy’ also comes the need for increased transportation of all extractive minerals taken from the earth. So simple yet the sign accurately states the opposition to industry!! I’m going to print the sign and hand it out to greenies.
