Peter Hitchens is a well-known British author and commentator who writes for an array of publications including The Spectator, The Mail on Sunday, The Guardian and others.
As the USA will thrive on reliable and affordable power, it will be in stark contract to the direction that the UK is going. That will become obvious to UK bill payers who will petition for an end to net zero in its current form. UK politicians will get hammered.
George Monbiot, the other guy shown on the panel I think, has become the dinosaur of the environmental movement. Times have moved on.
let's hope all the manufacturing in Europe, particularly Germany & UK that closes because power is too expensive, relocate to the US - the WSJ reports that in Germany electricity is considered to be a luxury which is where the US was headed under democrat rule - thank goodness we made a course correction
Since the election, I am thankful every day that I do not live in the EU. If the election had gone the other way, I'm not sure it would matter much.
I am just soooooo relieved not to have the constant stress any more of "How can they do that? That's insane. They're going to kill us all slowly and then quickly," running through my mind every time I paid any attention to the news.

Brute!
He is just as right as his late brother used to be. Well worded. Thanks for passing it on, David!
Why do we need it decimated with words? The people that wrote it know all this stuff already. It’s a feature not a bug.
