The only thing I would quibble with is the future for solar energy. It should not have one for the simple reason that any substantial solar installation on a reliable grid destabilizes it whenever the Sun is shining. Even if must-take laws are removed, it could cause such a dip in demand that other generators must cycle excessively.
So it may not be as ecologically devastating as wind, but it is nearly as destructive to grid reliability, I think.
